Laparoscopy Surgery
Laparoscopic surgery, also known as minimally invasive surgery (MIS) or laparoscopy, is a surgical method in which a thin, camera-equipped surgical equipment is inserted into the belly or pelvis through one or more small incisions. The camera transmits real-time video of the inside organs to a monitor for surgical guidance, and the operation is performed through small incisions. Laparoscopy can be used for a variety of operations, including hernia repair, hysterectomy, stomach ulcer treatment, and weight loss surgery.
